Kanjivaram Saree Making Process
01. Silk Preparation
Premium silk yarn is carefully processed, cleaned and prepared for weaving.

02. Dyeing
The silk yarn is dyed in rich, vibrant colours and carefully dried.

03. Zari Preparation
Fine gold and silver zari threads are prepared for the signature Kanjivaram designs.
Time: 1 Day
04. Designing & Setting
Traditional motifs and intricate patterns are planned and set for weaving.
Time: 1–2 Days
05. Weaving
Silk and zari threads are woven together using specialized looms and skilled craftsmanship.
Time: 7–15 Days
06. Finishing & Quality Check
The completed saree is inspected, finished, pressed and ready for adornment.
